Trackless Electric Transfer Cart

The electric transfer cart is an electrically powered transportation vehicle available in rail-mounted and trackless types, designed for heavy-load material conveyance.
Boasting large load capacity, stable running performance and zero-emission environmental operation, this cart is extensively applied for cross-workshop transportation and heavy workpiece transfer across aerospace, metallurgy, heavy machinery manufacturing and other industrial sectors.

1. The electric transfer cart is mainly composed of the car body frame, driving system, power supply system and electrical control system.

2. Car Body Frame:

The frame is predominantly fabricated via welding box beam structures or high-strength alloy materials, featuring outstanding load capacity and excellent anti-deformation performance under heavy loads.

3. Drive System:

Hardened tooth surface reducers paired with AC/DC motors are adopted as standard configuration, which output ample driving force and enable steady, shock-free startup and braking.

4. Power Supply System:

Multiple power supply solutions are available to suit different working conditions: rail-type power supply (low-voltage track power supply, cable reel power supply, etc.) for rail carts; battery power supply (lead-acid storage batteries, lithium batteries) for trackless carts.

5. Control System:

Consisting of electrical control cabinet, sensing modules and automatic navigation units, the system supports three operation modes: pendant push-button control, wireless remote control, as well as automatic operation via seamless docking with the factory MES management system.

Product Application

1. Heavy Manufacturing: Widely used in enterprises such as metallurgy, heavy industry, shipbuilding, and building materials for frequent, short-distance, and point-to-point transport of heavy loads.

2. Smart Production Lines: Integrates with automated systems to achieve unmanned material transfer and cross-span operations in modern production lines.

3. Special Operating Environments: Suitable for complex scenarios such as spray booths, sandblasting rooms, high-temperature furnace material transport, and tunnel engineering construction.

Product Operation Guide

1. Standard Operation Specifications:

Overloading and eccentric/uneven loading are strictly forbidden. Keep the cart running at a steady constant speed during transportation; refrain from sharp direction switching and harsh emergency braking.

2. Daily Inspection:

Clear any debris stuck on the rails on a daily basis. Inspect electrical control circuits, braking system functionality and remaining battery level to confirm all components work normally.

3. Periodic Maintenance: Regularly lubricate and maintain moving parts such as wheel axles, motors, and reducers. Promptly clean off dirt and apply protective paint.

4. Abnormality Handling: If any faults such as operational stuttering, unusual noises, or slipping occur, immediately stop the machine for inspection. Operating the equipment with faults or modifying it without authorization is strictly prohibited.

FAQ

Q1. What causes the electric transfer cart to stutter or experience increased resistance when running on the track?

Answer: This is usually caused by the accumulation of dust and debris on or inside the track, misalignment of track joints, or wheel wear. It is recommended to stop the machine immediately, clear any foreign objects from the track, and inspect and tighten the track connection bolts. If the wheels are severely worn, the wheel assembly components must be replaced promptly.

Q2. How should the equipment be handled if it is difficult to start or lacks power during operation?

Answer: This may be caused by low supply voltage, aging track insulation, or insufficient battery power. First, check the status of the external power supply transformer and the track slip lines. For battery-powered models, check the battery fluid level and replenish distilled water in a timely manner (adding acid is strictly prohibited), and confirm whether the battery capacity meets the standards.

Q3. What should be done if a trackless electric transfer cart deviates or has inaccurate positioning during operation?

Answer: This is usually related to the navigation system or sensors. Check whether the laser, magnetic tape, or visual navigation markers are damaged or obstructed, and clean the dust off the sensor surfaces. If the problem persists, the navigation system needs to be recalibrated, or the PLC control module should be checked for malfunctions.

Q4. How to troubleshoot abnormal vibrations or unusual noises from the motor or reducer during operation?

Answer: This may be caused by gear wear in the reducer, bearing damage, or insufficient lubrication of transmission components. The power supply should be cut off immediately to check the lubrication condition of the reducer and transmission components, and lubricating oil should be replenished if necessary. If internal mechanical components are damaged, professional personnel must be contacted for disassembly and repair. Operating the equipment with faults is strictly prohibited.

Q5. What should be done if the equipment experiences slipping, posing safety hazards?

Answer: Slipping is mostly caused by brake wear or insufficient tension in the brake spring. Operations must be stopped immediately to check the wear condition of the brake ring and adjust the compression force of the brake spring. If the braking components have reached the scrapping standard, they must be replaced immediately to ensure the safe parking of the transfer cart.
